Type of Leather we use:
- Full-grain or Top Grain: It is considered the best and highest quality of leather, this is the upper layer of a hide and is well known as one of the strongest and most durables leather. Depending on the "Finishing" technique, it will show natural scars, colors, pebble grain, etc... It is well known to absorb body oils and develop a patina over time.
Finishing Techniques we use:
Nappa: a soft leather you can commonly find it in a variety of colors. You can find it with smooth finishing, pebble grain, or any other type of pattern. [Absorbs body oils and develop a patina over time]
Nubuck: It is sanded on the grain side to create a velvety appearance. The sanding process can remove visible marks and defects in the top grain. [Absorbs body oils and develop a patina over time]
Oil-tanned: A process that involves natural oils after the initial vegetable tanning is complete, to create a remarkably smooth and flexible finish. [Absorbs body oils and develop a beautiful patina over time]
